Business Manager / Team Lead / Team Manager



The Business Manager / Team Lead / Team Manager will play an integral role in the development of the NES Fircroft business in the sector of Power Generation, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Engineering, IT and Life Sciences for our office in Copenhagen. The primary focus will be building local business with current and new clients, which service the Power Generation, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Engineering, IT and Life Sciences industry, through recruitment and Business Development.



Interdependencies with support functions will be critical, by way of building marketing collateral, generating contracts and proposals, and supporting the compliance, in invoicing and cash collection processes. This candidate will be a key member of the local leadership, thereby having added responsibilities in Business Development and Staff Development as a means of supporting broader growth in the region.



Responsibilities:



  • Recruitment of technical personnel in the above sectors and coordination of all roles for sourcing that pass through the office, ensuring first class delivery in line with company and client expectations.



  • Hiring, supervising, and leading the team to deliver the KPIs and desk plans set from the budgeting process and reforecasting.



  • Assist the Managing Director in Denmark in placement and BD target achievement by monitoring team performance, reporting accordingly and driving business development opportunities to realise growth within the operation.



  • Perform monthly reviews with the team to discuss performance against targets, development plans, behaviour and progress against objectives.



  • Address any recruitment and onboarding issues in real time with a sense of pride and urgency.



  • Identifying and strategically pursuing new business opportunities with existing and new clients through research of market trends and developments, with a strong focus on networking.



  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings.



  • Provide management with regular market feedback and progress against a list of targets clients



  • Engage businesses through partnership approach to solve problems broader than sourcing candidates (such as visa processing timeframes for non-EU-candidates)



  • Responsibility for maintaining an awareness of potential problems with contractors and clients as assignment conditions, service levels, or legislation changes, and resolving those problems that materialise in a timely and clear manner.



  • Managing all contractual and commercial activities and interfaces with existing and new clients, adhering to company best practices and utilising the relevant support functions as required.



  • Managing CAPEX and non-budgeted investments and writing clear business cases to support such activities.



Experience:



  • Previous experience within the Recruitment Industry – preferably 2+ years’ experience



  • Outgoing and confident personality with a proven track record in Business Development



  • Strong organisational skills, smart and methodical, demonstrating the ability to multitask and prioritise accordingly.



  • A team player who can also take initiative and work in an autonomous fashion.



  • Good communicator, articulate with strong external presentation skills (written & verbal)



  • Leadership attributes, with a demonstrated motivation to build and manage teams in projected growth market.



  • Commercial acumen, with a proven track record of negotiating contracts and some exposure to budgeting and P&L management in day-to-day business activities



  • Strong understanding of employment law in regard to state overtime regulations and FLSA



  • The ability to translate group strategy into achievable action plans at a local level



  • A commitment to attracting and developing industry leading local staff as the platform for future business growth.
